This unique event offers you the opportunity to express your thoughts from an artistic perspective by bringing together the world of philosophy and artificial intelligence. You will paint concepts and words that give meaning to your life using generative artificial intelligence tools, and explore the aesthetic interpretations of your thoughts.

About the Competition

Calling all philosophy enthusiasts! Join us in using AI tools to creatively depict your favorite philosophical concept or quote. Choose any philosophical idea, question, or quote and express its depth through artistic drawings.

Example:

  • Concept: Mind, Evil, Knowledge, Good Life, Truth, Self-consciousness, Utopia, Infinity

  • Quote: “An unexamined life is not worth living.” - Socrates

  • Question: “Can machines think?”

We expect these artistic creations to be generated using generative AI technologies. Don’t worry if you’re new to these tools – we’ve prepared a user-friendly guide to help you. Access the guide below.

To motivate high school students, we’re evaluating the competition in two categories:

  • High School Students
  • General

Prizes and exhibitions will be held separately for each category.

Submission Deadline: Upload your entries to the form on PHILFEST’23 platforms by September 13th, Friday.

Competition Schedule

Evaluation Process: Our jury members will meticulously assess all submitted drawings, and successful entries will be showcased at the PHILFEST’23 Festival Area. An example of the evaluation report can be accessed through the application form.

Announcement of Results: Evaluation outcomes will be announced on September 16th, and the winners will be featured on the official PHILFEST’23 website.

Prizes and Exhibition

Outstanding visuals selected by the jury will be exhibited at the PHILFEST’23 Philosophy Exhibition.

By completing the application form, you grant permission for your artwork to be displayed at the PHILFEST’23 philosophy exhibition and featured on PHILFEST’23 official platforms.

Additionally, the creators of exhibited artworks will receive a special PHILFEST’23 Memory Package.
